Originally written in the 1950s, Emlyn Williams’ play remains remarkably relevant nearly 75 years later – this dark and chilling look about the price of success and trial-by-media examines the fine line between truth and lies, good and evil, and one’s past and future.

This season will be directed by Sean Mathias alongside Filumena (4-19 Oct), starting at Theatre Royal Windsor before touring.

Directed by Sean Mathias– previous productions include Frank and Percy, The Cherry Orchard, Alone Together and the recent filmed adaptation of Hamlet starring Ian McKellen.
